In his 10 years with the firm James has prosecuted numerous patent and trademark applications and specializes in the management of large patent portfolios. Working in areas of technology as diverse as all-terrain vehicles and implantable medical devices, closet organizers and package assemblies; James works with both large corporate entities as well as individual inventors and provides all of his clients with a full range of intellectual property service including the preparation of detailed patentability studies and clearance positions. As part of his practice James has assisted and advised clients in the acquisition of corporate intellectual property assets and provided cost benefit analysis of both individual patents as well as entire patent portfolios.

Outside of the office James enjoys working and playing on his family's small hobby farm, with his wife Judy and his kids Ellie & Max. James expects that the universe will collapse upon itself before he ever manages to finish his various elaborate and ever-evolving landscaping and home improvement projects.
